Alan is originally from a NYC suburb and started out on guitar in his teens.  His early influences include Cream and Weather Report. Since moving West, he’s played with many musicians around the San Francisco Bay Area.  When he’s not playing music, he’s writing technical manuals, designing web apps and spending time with his family.
